I got up early. Guangming Town is still fairly remote, and the subway doesn’t go there. So I got up early and spent over an hour on the subway. At first I set my destination to Guangming Town OTC Happy Farmland, and the bus stop was Second Vocational Technical School. Later, as we were nearly at the stop, I heard someone on the bus saying they were going there, and only then did I learn that the bus stop is the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (or Zhongda Affiliated No. 7).
There’s a parking lot near Zhongda Affiliated No. 7, so coming by car is more convenient.
Get off the bus and walk straight in the direction of traffic.

I walked a long way — personally, I didn’t feel it was close at all.
After going in, follow the road further inside. If you want to go up to the viewing platform (the flower fields near the platform are free of charge), you can buy a ticket at the ticket office; it’s 20 yuan for adults and 10 yuan for children. As for the sightseeing shuttle, it’s 30 yuan for adults (limited to four rides), and I think 10 yuan for children. Actually, I wouldn’t recommend taking it — walking and enjoying the view is better, though it is a bit tiring if you’re not in good shape.
As for the viewing platform, I personally feel it’s better to climb up in the morning or towards evening for the sunrise or sunset; at other times the light is too bright…

Overall it feels like a place suited to bringing small children for some leisure time; it’s a fairly relaxed outing. It’s just that the entrances and exits aren’t arranged very well, the place is remote, the bus information is inaccurate, and it’s best to go straight to the subway station. There are no taxis nearby either…
A guide I’m sharing from my own experience:
Attraction: Guangming Town OTC Happy Farmland — not Guangming Town Happy Farmland; the two are quite different, and they’re also a fair distance apart.
Visitors without a car: get off at Guangsheng (sheng) Factory and walk in via Loucun No. 1 Road (called Shanshui Road on Amap) (a walk of about ten minutes). If you do one loop you’ll come out right at Gate 2, and you can take the bus back from the Seventh Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (or Zhongda Affiliated No. 7).
Visitors driving: on holidays all vehicles are diverted to Gate 2, and Loucun No. 1 Road (called Shanshui Road on Amap) is not open to them, so for sightseeing there’s just the one road in and out.
